The manager tells him to start the job immediately. The flashback ends.
Meanwhile, Sachin and Sayali inquire about Tejas’ new job. Roshni wonders why they’re asking him. Sayali responds sharply, and Renu intervenes, scolding Sayali for her behavior. Tejas, feeling cautious, decides to avoid revealing too much. He tells them his job is technical and involves customer interactions. Roshni guesses it’s a customer relationship role, and Tejas confirms, though he seems disappointed. He then asks Renu to take the sweets and leaves.
Roshni hugs Tejas, expressing her happiness and asking about the company and his role. Tejas downplays it, saying it’s not a big company, but he took the job for her sake. Roshni thanks him, and Tejas reassures her that he’s not deceiving her. He asks her not to question him about the job further, as it’s not ideal, but he’s doing it for her. She thanks him again and embraces him.
At Sayali’s store, she interacts with a female customer who asks about her mangalsutra. Later, Paresh arrives at the store and declines Sayali’s offer for tea, telling her to focus on her work. The customer returns and expresses concern about Renu’s treatment of Sayali, but Sayali defends Renu, assuring the customer that Renu is caring. Paresh overhears this conversation and confronts Renu about her behavior. He accuses her of insulting Sayali, who has always maintained Renu’s dignity in front of others. Renu and Paresh argue, and Sayali listens in. Paresh demands that Renu return Sayali’s jewelry, but Renu insists that Sayali gave it to her voluntarily and accuses her of trying to defame her. Renu accuses Sayali of taunting her, but Sayali retorts that being from a poor background doesn’t mean she has any less self-respect than the wealthy. Renu belittles Sachin, but Paresh asks Sayali to wear her mangalsutra. Sayali firmly states that Sachin promised to buy her a mangalsutra, and it’s a matter of his pride. Renu mocks Sachin, dismissing his promise.
